Having completed my first official month at Upperdog, it seems appropriate to introduce myself.
Hello! My name is Daphne Xenakis and I am Upperdog’s new Digital Marketing Pup. Like my predecessor, Dan, I am also a third year PR student from Bournemouth University. This industry placement is a great opportunity to get my feet wet and push the boundaries of both my skills and my knowledge.
My job includes writing original content combined with SEO research to help our clients become more noticeable. Dan’s taught me everything he knows and I’ve already learnt so much in such a short space of time – more than I ever thought possible! Writing for such a diverse range of clients has been a sharp learning curve and I’ve discovered so many interesting facts about their industries that I otherwise wouldn’t have known.
So, that’s me. I can’t wait to get stuck in and meet every one of our clients over the next nine months. I just know that writing for them will continue to be the best part of my day. Let’s get cracking!
