Thursday 13th of February 2014 saw Upperdog officially turn 1 year old. Over the last 12 months Upperdog has grown from the ground up – our pack has matured in size, our tricks have gotten more impressive and our client list has become longer.
Rewind 12 months ago…
Last February, Upperdog consisted of only the Top Dog, Zhara. Flash forwards 365 days and the office is packed with 6 fresh minds working towards total client satisfaction. And we’re not stopping there either – there’s the potential for new recruits to reinforce the team this summer, so keep your eyes peeled for new faces!
In fact, the team has already grown so much that now we’re looking to move onto new, bigger and greener turf. At maximum capacity and full tilt our office is a whirlwind, so it’s time for a new kennel. Stay tuned for news on that too.
Helping the local community
The past year has also seen us get involved with the community and charity work. Back in October, Upperdog raised over £180 for Waggy Tails Rescue and Autism Wessex in one of our first sponsored events; Upperdog’s Dog’s Day Out. The first of many more to come.
Web developer Kyle also put down the shaver and picked up the mo-comb to raise money for charity in December for Movember, and then in December, the pack also turned out to support Friends of the Strays of Greece on Bournemouth beach.
A big thanks to our clients
In between our charity ventures, we’ve been piecing together a solid and reputable client list that’s steadily been growing stronger. We’d like to thank each and every one of our clients for their support, without which we couldn’t have built up to where we are now. We hope you’ve enjoyed the ride with us so far!

Of course, on celebrating our birthday it was only right that we had a celebratory drink (or four). Out of marketing mode, we took a dash of rum, threw in a few slices of mint and a splash of soda water for an evening of cocktail making at Aruba on Bournemouth Pier.
