Hello, I’m Jake! I joined the Upperdog team as the UX Designer in 2023.
About Me
My role at Upperdog revolves around creating user-focused digital experiences. Essentially, that means designing digital assets – websites, animations, social media, and so on – to meet the strategic needs of businesses, all while ensuring they look great and match the client’s branding.
In the past I’ve worked on everything from e-commerce, technical, and educational websites to stylised brand animations and videos, plus everything in between. I strive to make each project both architecturally sound and visually engaging, and I can’t wait to get stuck into whatever projects come my way at Upperdog.
Joining the Upperdog Team
I’m thrilled to be part of Upperdog. Everyone has been super welcoming and is clearly passionate about what they do. Upperdog focuses on delivering results, which encourages me to do my best work. Plus, it’s fantastic being near the beach and meeting new dogs in the office!
Behind the Scenes
Outside the office, you can find me surrounded by my indoor forest—I love all things green! I built a 5ft indoor terrarium during lockdown and love exploring the New Forest. Beyond developing brands and products, I have also been a professional photographer, an outdoor activity instructor, and have lived in and taught at a Buddhist monastery in Nepal; Om Shri Mahākāla.
I’m looking forward to working with all of you and bringing some incredible projects to life. Let’s make something great together!
