Project Background

Mathmos are the inventors of the lava lamp and are renowned for their quality products and British heritage. Operating in a competitive market, Mathmos required a digital advertising strategy to ignite sales across Europe.

The Solution

Upperdog created a multi-platform strategy incorporating PPC, remarketing, paid social and Amazon ads. We tapped into audiences in historically underperforming markets with long tail keywords and a mixture of native and English language searches. We optimised Amazon to achieve a low ACOS and ran a comprehensive Facebook remarketing strategy to entice non convertors back to buy.

The Results

Sales increased YoY, most recently revenue was up 157% and conversion rate up 23% on Google. Amazon revenue increased by 46%.
