It’s party time at the Upperdog offices because we just got another year older! With a little help from storm Eunice, we blew out the candles on our cake to celebrate Upperdog’s 9thbirthday. What a year it has been for the team at our digital marketing agency in Bournemouth. We’ve welcomed new clients and team members to the pack and had a lot of fun along the way. 2021 has been an exciting year for us so we thought we would share some of our highlights.
New faces
Lots of new people have joined the team since our last birthday. We welcomed Toby, Lizzy, Joel, Anastasija, Sophie, Ben and Oana into the marketing team and Attila into our production team. Our office is now full to the brim with marketing gurus and their four-legged friends! We also celebrated Ellie getting engaged and Lizzy getting married. A massive thanks to our whole team, both new and old, for getting through lockdown with their tails wagging and making this year possible.
Activities
With lockdown coming to an end the Upperdog team have gradually transitioned back to the office with hybrid working. Our company bake-off challenge produced some cakes that would’ve made Mary Berry proud (and maybe some that would’ve earned a scowl from Paul Hollywood). We all got creative (and a bit weird) in a team Taskmaster event. A Upperdog Halloween party saw the unlikely duo of Ali G and Princess Diana go head to head at beer pong…
Aside from all the fantastic team lunches and yoga sessions, we’ve also loved getting involved with a range of charities. Team members from our SEO agency have been volunteering at a local homelessness outreach program Hope For Food. This fantastic initiative provides food and clothes to people in the community who need it most. We also announced our partnership with Save a Greek Stray, a charity that provides shelter for strays in the Greek town of Oropos.
We can’t wait for another year of fun, so it’s paws at the ready for 2022!
