Hi, I’m Lauren, the new Senior Account Manager at Upperdog 👋
About my role
I joined Upperdog last month as a Senior Account Manager. Since then, I’ve jumped in by familiarising myself with my new clients. I’ve also learned Upperdog’s processes and got to know my colleagues.
My role focuses on being the senior lead for clients, whether that’s on SEO, PPC, or paid social ads. I lead client calls and onboarding and help the account managers with daily tasks. This way, we can deliver the best results!
The most enjoyable part of my role is building relationships with my clients and the Upperdog team. In the last 10 years of marketing, I’ve worked with various clients in Europe and the US. I’ve also worked in-house at Garmin.
I’ve worked in many areas before. My experience includes PR, digital marketing, product marketing, and influencer and partnership marketing. I’ve worked in various sectors, including Marine, Sports, Electronics, Care Homes, Financial/Fintech, E-commerce, Pharmaceuticals, automotive, and even Coins!
Joining the pack
The team at Upperdog has made my first month enjoyable. Everyone has been so helpful and welcoming. My favourite part of the role is the diverse clients I get to work with. From BMW Motorrad to an influencer accountancy company, each day is unique and interesting! I love learning about new clients and their customers.
When I’m not in the office
Outside of work, I’m in love with all things outdoors! Most weekends you’ll find me halfway up a hill in the Purbecks, doing Park Run or some other random challenge.
I’m also a big history buff. I enjoy exploring National Trust properties and hunting for abandoned buildings. Each place has its own story to tell. I hope that one day we can have the National Trust as a client. That would bring together my two passions: marketing and the outdoors!
