Get out the cake and balloons because this month we turned 8 years old!
With a national lockdown and WFH, we thought hey let’s not dampen our party spirit. We can still celebrate right? So, what better way than to pick out the highlights of the last year?

2020 was a year of evolution for us. We moved office leaving behind our beloved ‘boutique’ aka small space in Westbourne, to move into a glorious spacious and newly-decorated office in Bournemouth gardens. With enough room to roam around on Joel’s electric scooter, we welcomed a few clients in our shiny new boardroom before COVID hit.
Cue working from home. Luckily being a digital agency we transitioned fairly seamlessly into WFH whilst trialling out all the video call software you can imagine. To keep up morale our beer Fridays became virtual quizzes, Scattergories, bingo… you name it we’ve played it! Our furry friends kept us feeling warm and fuzzy, offering much needed support during technical call glitches and ‘slow network’ warnings. We launched new websites for clients and won some pretty cool new clients from our kitchens, lounges and hallways.
We welcomed two new team members; Caly who is bilingual and Matt who used to live in a castle. Impressive huh! And we said hello to the arrival of baby Jack. Our brand had a revamp and we launched our new website.
We donated to charities to help those in need, including WWF to help repair damages caused by the Australian wild fires, Bournemouth food bank for those struggling locally during the pandemic, and Poole Pound Rescue who rescue cats and dogs.
It wouldn’t be a birthday without a party. The team rolled out their best amateur drama skills to take part in a virtual circus-themed murder mystery. We had a mermaid downing pints, a Post Malone lookalike and a clown with the biggest bowtie you’ve ever seen. Spoiler: the murderer had a pink wig and an 11 year-old’s cape on.
So what can we say apart from a BIG thank you to our wonderful team and our brilliant clients. Here’s to another cracker of a year!
